Head of Accounting Remote (anywhere in Lithuania)

They are currently seeking a remote Head of Accounting to lead and develop their accounting operations across e-commerce and manufacturing divisions. The successful candidate will be responsible for all core accounting processes, including month-end close, financial statement preparation, AR, AP, vendor and payment management, internal controls, and fraud prevention. This role requires expertise in IFRS or U.S. GAAP, an international accounting background, and the ability to design and implement scalable financial operations and policies. Key responsibilities for the Head of Accounting at the company include overseeing accounting operations, designing and implementing robust processes, developing accounting policies in compliance with U.S. GAAP standards, and managing financial audits. The role also involves evaluating and implementing accounting systems and tools to enhance efficiency, leading and supporting the accounting team, and ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, a CPA or equivalent qualification, and at least 8 years of accounting leadership experience, preferably in both e-commerce and manufacturing sectors. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential, as is a proactive and detail-oriented approach to work.
