Head of IT

The Company is seeking a Head of IT to lead its technology function and strengthen operational stability, security, governance, and effectiveness. The role provides end-to-end leadership across infrastructure, cybersecurity, IT operations, application support, vendor management, and change delivery. Responsibilities include improving service resilience and recovery, addressing incidents and technology risks, and prioritizing delivery. The Head of IT will also drive cost optimization, oversee the application portfolio, and support integration, migration, and rationalization initiatives while coordinating with senior stakeholders. Candidates should have at least 15 years of IT experience, including five years in senior leadership, ideally within financial services or another regulated environment. They need hands-on knowledge of infrastructure, cybersecurity, IT operations, service management, and application support, along with strong ITIL expertise. Working knowledge of cloud and hybrid infrastructure, identity and access management, networks, end-user computing, backup, disaster recovery, and security controls is required. The role also calls for experience managing vendors and technology costs, a strong grasp of governance, audit, risk, and controls, and the ability to lead strategically while addressing operational challenges.
