Vice President of Business Development

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Business Development to lead the execution of its development strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering client relationships, retaining existing contracts, and expanding business opportunities. This role requires the development and implementation of contract win and extension strategies, as well as the negotiation and finalization of various agreements. The Vice President will also be involved in engaging with prospective clients, airport staff, and political representatives, and will oversee the project work plan, budgets, and financial analysis for assigned contracts. Collaboration with various internal departments and operations leadership is essential to ensure the successful delivery and fulfillment of all contracts. Applicants for the Vice President of Business Development position at the company should have a minimum of 12 years of professional experience, with at least 7 years in a leadership role related to business development or business development finance. A technical background with 10 years in a senior-level business development finance role is also required. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with an MBA or Master's degree counting for additional experience. Specialized training in the business development finance and contracting process is a must, along with a proven track record of advanced financial analysis, business acumen, and strategic vision. Experience in the airport F&B and/or retail industry, as well as participation in industry affinity groups, is highly valued. The role demands a leader with a continuous improvement mindset, the ability to balance the needs of the business with those of complex stakeholders, and a history of creating positive work environments through team coaching and development.
