Associate Vice President, Financial Close Leader

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President, Financial Close Leader to coordinate enterprise-wide finance processes and promote consistency, efficiency, and operational excellence. Responsibilities include managing finance-wide programs, calendars, milestones, and strategic initiatives; documenting processes and driving projects through completion; and identifying opportunities for process improvement and automation. The role also develops executive communications and presentations, supports recurring audit and board reporting, and coordinates audit planning and materials with internal and external stakeholders. In addition, the leader plans and delivers finance team meetings and other key engagements. Candidates should have at least seven years of experience in insurance or financial services, strong knowledge of reinsurance or other financial markets, and familiarity with audit processes and regulatory compliance. A bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or accounting is preferred; operations or project management education is also relevant. The role calls for excellent written and verbal communication, analytical and problem-solving ability, strong project management and organizational skills, and the capacity to manage competing priorities. Candidates should be collaborative relationship-builders and proficient with presentation, spreadsheet, word-processing, and other office applications.
