Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Consultant Remote (anywhere in United States)

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer Consultant to lead clients’ financial reporting and operational finance. Responsibilities include managing financial operations, developing and implementing procedures, preparing financial statements and board reporting, and leading budgeting and forecasting. The consultant will advise senior executives on financial decisions, optimize financial systems, approve financial commitments, and coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, and other consultants. The role also oversees accounting staff and functions such as month-end close, payables, billing, reconciliations, cash forecasting, and financial analysis. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, at least six years of practical finance or accounting experience, and four years of management experience. Strong business judgment, analytical and communication skills, adaptability, and the ability to make sound recommendations with incomplete information are required. Applicants should have a solid understanding of technical accounting and GAAP, along with strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills. Experience with enterprise resource planning systems is an advantage, as is a collaborative approach to supporting and developing colleagues.
