Head of Data

The Company is seeking a Head of Data to define and build the next generation of its enterprise data platform. This hands-on executive will set platform strategy and architecture across data ingestion, storage, streaming, transformation, metadata, APIs, and large-scale query processing. Responsibilities include developing AI-enabled integration capabilities and reusable data products, connecting enterprise data to business logic, and improving customer onboarding and deployment. The role also involves partnering across product, engineering, sales, and client-facing teams, while recruiting and leading a high-performing engineering organization. Candidates should have 15 or more years of software and data engineering leadership experience, including a record of building and scaling enterprise-grade data platforms used by external customers. A bachelor’s degree in computer science, machine learning, statistics, or a related quantitative field is required. Deep expertise in databases, distributed systems, streaming, metadata, schema management, query processing, and cloud infrastructure is expected. Applicants should bring strong product judgment, executive communication skills, hands-on architecture and coding experience, and practical understanding of large language models, AI agents, and retrieval systems.
