Head of Finance, Fractional Contract Remote (anywhere in United States)

The Company is seeking a part-time Head of Finance to guide financial strategy and support its next stage of growth. The role partners with executive leadership on business planning, financial models, unit economics, growth opportunities, and performance metrics. Responsibilities include analyzing payer contracts and reimbursement arrangements, informing negotiation strategy, and assessing how payer terms affect business performance. The Head of Finance will own forecasting and budgeting, support cash and scenario planning, and provide financial leadership within an MSO/PC structure. The role also involves improving reporting, dashboards, processes, and controls while serving as a trusted financial partner to leadership. Candidates should have at least seven years of healthcare finance experience, ideally in healthcare services, physician practices, value-based care, or healthcare technology and services. Direct experience with national health plans and payer contracting, as well as within an MSO/PC healthcare model, is required. Strong skills in forecasting, budgeting, financial modeling, scenario analysis, reimbursement, and healthcare unit economics are essential. The ideal candidate combines strategic judgment with hands-on execution, communicates complex financial concepts clearly, and has experience supporting growth, fundraising, or expansion. Experience with alternative payment models and working directly with executive teams is also valued.
