Senior Vice President, Legal & Compliance Remote (anywhere in United States)

The Company is seeking a commercially minded Senior Vice President of Legal & Compliance to lead its global legal function and advise senior leadership. Responsibilities include negotiating complex commercial and technology agreements, supporting strategic initiatives, and guiding software, intellectual property, AI, privacy, and data protection matters. The role will oversee global compliance, corporate governance, employment and workforce issues, and legal risk management. It will also develop scalable legal processes, manage external counsel, and lead a responsive, business-oriented legal team. Candidates must hold a Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and be an active member in good standing of a U.S. state bar. At least eight years of progressive legal experience, including substantial work with software, SaaS, technology, or technology-enabled services businesses, is required. Applicants should bring expertise in commercial technology transactions, enterprise contracting, software licensing, intellectual property, AI-related legal issues, privacy, and regulatory compliance. Strong business judgment, negotiation and communication skills, and the ability to translate complex legal matters into practical guidance are essential; experience with global operations, private equity-backed businesses, M&A, or legal technology is preferred.
