Vice President of Accounting & Finance

The Company is seeking a VP of Accounting & Finance to take the lead in the accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all accounting activities, including GL, AP/AR, payroll support, and month-end close. This role also involves supporting revenue recognition processes, particularly for multi-element contracts, and ensuring the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP. The VP will be instrumental in the development of a robust monthly management reporting package, managing the annual audit process, and leading tax compliance efforts. Additionally, the role requires the management of internal controls, accounting policies, and the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process. Applicants for the VP of Accounting & Finance position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' progressive accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a controller role. A CPA or MBA is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in G/L design and implementation of accounting software, experience with Sage-Intacct and Salesforce integrations, and a proven track record in a professional services business model. Experience in M&A, as well as a deep understanding of GAAP or IFRS, is essential. The role demands a strategic vision, with a focus on risk management and the ability to collaborate with executive leadership to drive the company's growth and profitability.
