Vice President of Finance Remote (anywhere in United States)

The Company is seeking a VP of Finance to join their innovative team. The successful candidate will be the analytical engine and a key leader, working closely with the CFO across a portfolio of clients. This role is pivotal in owning the financial models, budgets, forecasts, and all materials used for decision-making. The VP of Finance will be responsible for planning and analysis, developing and maintaining financial models, providing ad-hoc analysis, and supporting the CFO on strategic initiatives. They must be adept at building and leading a finance team, as well as actively participating in the growth of the client base. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, with a focus on FP&A, and a proven track record of success in a similar role. Applicants for the VP of Finance position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' experience in finance, with a deep understanding of FP&A, particularly in a venture-backed or high-growth environment. The role requires advanced expertise in both accounting and FP&A, as well as firsthand experience in fundraising and a strong grasp of early-stage growth dynamics. The VP of Finance will also be expected to demonstrate AI fluency and have a BA in a relevant field. Industry expertise in venture and growth-stage economics, particularly in e-commerce, CPG, or technology, is essential. The role demands a professional with executive presence, high emotional intelligence, and the ability to distill complex information into clear, actionable recommendations. The candidate should be a proactive team leader, capable of managing direct reports, and be actively involved in business development.
