Vice President of Infrastructure Engineering Remote (anywhere in United States)

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Infrastructure Engineering to set the long-term vision and lead a large engineering organization responsible for cloud platforms, developer experience, data infrastructure, reliability, observability, and engineering productivity. The role will guide the evolution of infrastructure for an AI-first environment, expand global capabilities, and ensure platforms remain secure, reliable, scalable, and operationally effective. The VP will partner with product, engineering, security, and executive leaders to align investments with business priorities, while advancing modern reliability practices and improving developer velocity. Responsibilities also include developing engineering leaders, fostering an inclusive culture of technical excellence, and building strategic technology partnerships. Candidates should bring significant executive experience leading large, multi-layer engineering organizations and a record of building and scaling infrastructure, platform, developer-platform, or cloud engineering teams in cloud-native software businesses. They need experience operating highly available, globally distributed systems at internet scale, along with deep knowledge of cloud architecture, distributed systems, reliability, observability, automation, and software delivery. The role requires strategic judgment, measurable business impact, strong executive communication, and success developing leaders and high-performing teams. Experience with large-scale data platforms, internal developer platforms, cloud efficiency, or AI-driven engineering transformation is also valuable.
