Chief Medical Officer (CMO)

The Company is seeking a Chief Medical Officer to lead clinical operations and oversee clinical teams across a growing network of care locations. The role includes directing provider recruitment, retention, and development; ensuring consistent standards for clinical care, productivity, and patient outcomes; and establishing effective organizational structures and clinical governance. The CMO will partner with executive, clinical, and operational leaders on strategic initiatives, care delivery standardization, quality measurement, and scalable growth. The position is also accountable for clinical excellence, service standards, regulatory compliance, and profitable growth. Candidates must hold an MD or DO from an accredited medical school, have completed an approved residency, and maintain current board certification. An MBA, MHA, or additional leadership training is preferred, along with eligibility for medical licensure in the relevant states. Applicants should bring senior physician executive experience, leadership overseeing physicians and advanced practice providers, and experience in urgent care, retail medicine, or large ambulatory care networks. Strong understanding of healthcare economics, productivity metrics, and clinical performance management is required; experience in high-growth or private equity-backed healthcare organizations is preferred.
