Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Aetna Service Operations Greater Hartford, CT Area

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to lead day-to-day financial management and strategy for its service operations, including oversight of a large budget, monthly results and variance analysis, quarterly forecasting, and multi-year planning. The role evaluates capital investments, tracks productivity initiatives, and strengthens financial governance by aligning staffing models, expense budgets, and hiring processes. The CFO will improve forecasting and reporting processes, deliver financial insights to senior and clinical leaders, and provide budget presentations and ad hoc analysis. The position also requires close collaboration with business and finance leaders to shape financially viable strategies. Candidates should have at least 12 years of relevant finance experience, a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, and experience leading, developing, and training teams. Required capabilities include strategic planning, working effectively across a matrixed organization, adapting to change, and using Hyperion and S/4HANA. Applicants should be able to establish measurable objectives and key results across quarterly, annual, and long-range plans. Healthcare, managed care, or financial services experience, P&L leadership, and an advanced degree in a related field are preferred.
