Head of Project Development

The Company is seeking a Head of Project Development to lead local development for major digital infrastructure projects across Asia. Responsibilities include managing stakeholder engagement and government relations, coordinating land matters, permits, planning approvals, and local development requirements, and working with technical, engineering, and advisory teams to support project delivery. The role also involves managing relationships with local partners, contractors, and infrastructure stakeholders. The successful candidate will identify and resolve regulatory, commercial, and execution challenges throughout the project development lifecycle. Candidates should have an established professional network in Malaysia and a strong understanding of local government processes and business practices. Experience in data centre development, digital infrastructure, or other large-scale infrastructure projects is required, along with demonstrated involvement in government engagement, permitting, approvals, or local development coordination. The role calls for commercial judgment, resourcefulness, and the ability to work independently in an international business environment. Strong English and Mandarin communication skills are essential.
