Chief Operations & Impact Officer

The Company is seeking a Chief Operations & Impact Officer to provide executive leadership for its integrated food access system and related operations. The role oversees food sourcing and procurement, warehouse and inventory management, transportation, food safety, distribution programs, and volunteer operations, while ensuring services respond to community and partner needs. The officer translates strategic priorities into operating plans, measurable goals, budgets, and implementation milestones, and maintains compliance with applicable laws, regulations, contracts, and funding requirements. Responsibilities also include strengthening community partnerships, evaluating distribution models, using data to improve performance and resource allocation, and leading directors with clear expectations and accountability. Candidates should have at least 10 years of leadership experience managing complex, interconnected operational and programmatic functions, including substantial budgets and staff. Experience integrating teams, building effective management and decision-making systems, implementing accountability measures, and leading organizational change while maintaining engagement and continuity is required. Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills are essential, along with a commitment to fairness, diversity, and inclusion. The role also calls for the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
