Vice President, Software Development Engineer in Test Greater Mumbai, India Area

The Company is seeking Senior- and Staff-level software development engineers in test to strengthen quality engineering across its product teams. Responsibilities include designing and maintaining automated tests for APIs, backend services, web and mobile applications, and blockchain-integrated systems; setting team quality strategies; and building reliable test pipelines within continuous integration and delivery workflows. The role partners closely with engineering, product, and DevOps teams to improve testability, investigate incidents, and drive reliability, performance, security, and observability improvements. At Staff level, the position also sets quality engineering direction across teams, aligns testing standards, and advises engineering leadership. Candidates should have at least eight years of experience in quality engineering or software development in test, with substantial ownership of automation strategy and execution. Strong programming skills in Python or a comparable language, experience with test automation frameworks, and a deep understanding of API testing, microservices, and distributed systems are required. Applicants should also be familiar with version control, CI/CD, issue tracking, debugging and observability tools, and collaborative Agile practices, and have experience using AI-assisted development tools. Experience in financial technology or digital assets, blockchain testing, cloud platforms, performance or security testing, and mentoring engineers is preferred.
