Assistant Vice President of Quality Greater New York City, NY Area

The Company is seeking an Assistant Vice President of Quality to lead its Quality Management and Quality Improvement functions. The role oversees quality programs, performance measures, data analysis, audits, regulatory reporting, and corrective action plans, while driving organization-wide initiatives to improve participant outcomes, patient safety, and operational effectiveness. The AVP partners with clinical and operational leaders, supports quality committees, and presents performance findings and recommendations to leadership. Responsibilities also include managing and developing staff, setting departmental goals, overseeing budgets, and maintaining regulatory readiness. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; a master’s degree is preferred, as is an active clinical license. Requirements include at least five years of healthcare quality or performance improvement experience and three years of management experience overseeing quality functions in a managed care or comparable healthcare organization. Applicants should demonstrate expertise in quality programs, performance measures, data analytics, regulatory requirements, audits, and improvement methodologies.
