Interim Chief of Security Operations Greater New York City, NY Area

The Company is seeking a Chief of Security Operations to provide frontline leadership for assigned security teams and reinforce the established chain of command. Responsibilities include coordinating daily operations and personnel assignments, monitoring readiness and performance, coaching team members, and ensuring staff follow site procedures and operational directives. The role also supports briefings, shift transitions, incident response, escalation, documentation, and operational reviews. The successful candidate will help maintain professional standards and team accountability while developing the judgment and leadership capabilities needed for broader management responsibilities. Candidates should have at least five years of private security or related operational experience preferred, along with experience as a team leader or in an equivalent leadership role. A valid New York State Security Guard License is required; armed assignments also require a valid armed guard license and carry permit.
