Vice President, Branch Manager Greater New York City, NY Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Branch Manager to lead the growth of consumer and business relationships and oversee the daily operations of multiple retail branches or a qualifying single branch. Responsibilities include driving sales and service goals, managing branch operations and risk, supporting lending and product sales, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and applicable regulations. The role also involves coaching and developing team members, monitoring performance, building customer relationships, and conducting external business development. The Branch Manager will work with assistant managers to direct staff, maintain service quality, and address operational and personnel matters. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and at least seven years of branch management experience in a sales and service environment. Business development experience and strong community ties are required, along with a customer-focused approach, a record of meeting sales targets, and excellent communication and organizational skills. Applicants should understand banking operations and relevant regulations, and have experience managing multiple or remote locations. A bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field and prior multi-branch management experience are preferred. Registration as a mortgage loan originator is required before handling mortgage applications; life and health licenses are preferred.
