Vice President, Data Science Product Engineering Greater New York City, NY Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Data Science Product Engineering to lead the development and deployment of agentic AI and machine learning solutions supporting investment decision-making. Responsibilities include taking models from prototype through production, partnering with data scientists and investment professionals to refine solutions, and building user-facing applications, APIs, automated reports, and spreadsheet tools. The role also involves designing cloud and data engineering infrastructure, developing retrieval and reasoning workflows for unstructured investment materials, and establishing model evaluation, monitoring, and safeguards. The successful candidate will mentor junior colleagues and help build scalable technical infrastructure. Candidates must hold an undergraduate degree in a technical discipline and have at least six years of relevant experience in machine learning engineering, data science, software engineering, or data engineering. Strong Python and SQL skills, experience deploying agentic AI and machine learning applications, and expertise in statistical modeling and production systems are required. Applicants should also bring a solid foundation in mathematics and statistics, experience with financial data and analytical modeling, and strong communication and project leadership skills. Experience in investment-related fields, retrieval-augmented generation, model orchestration, or agent frameworks is preferred.
