Assistant Vice President, Quality Automation Engineering Greater Pune, India Area

The Company is seeking an Assistant Vice President, Quality Automation Engineering to lead and contribute to software quality assurance, user acceptance testing, and production rollout initiatives. Responsibilities include monitoring processes and products, auditing compliance with standards, documenting findings, conducting root-cause analyses, and recommending improvements. The role also ensures corrective actions are completed, project work products are traceable, and quality metrics are reported. The successful candidate will advise and mentor team members, collaborate across technology teams, and assess and escalate risks while supporting compliance and sound control practices. Candidates should have at least eight years of hands-on experience with Core Java and test automation frameworks such as Cucumber, TestNG, or JUnit. Strong experience in backend automation—including API, message-based, and database testing—is required, along with knowledge of Selenium, DevOps tools, version control, SQL, and Linux. Experience creating and modifying test scenarios and scripts, writing complex queries, and using reporting tools is also expected; familiarity with message brokers and project management is an advantage. A bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience, is required, as are strong analytical, communication, teamwork, and execution skills.
