Associate Vice President, Senior Software Engineer, Regulatory & Cross Product Technology Greater Pune, India Area

The Company is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to contribute to regulatory and cross-product technology initiatives. Working in a cross-functional agile team, the successful candidate will help refine requirements, prioritize work, design and build software, test solutions, and support them in production. Responsibilities include writing clean, reliable code; evolving component architecture; contributing to broader architectural decisions; and improving automated continuous delivery. The role also involves providing production support and mentoring colleagues while fostering collaboration and continuous improvement. Candidates should have deep expertise in Java, the JVM, object-oriented design, and SOLID principles, along with substantial experience in agile software development. Required technical skills include modern JavaScript frameworks, REST, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, SQL, and relational databases; familiarity with financial services, especially KYC onboarding and customer master data, is also important. Experience with microservices, Domain-Driven Design, CQRS, and event sourcing is valued, as is knowledge of agile prioritization methods. A computer science, business, or economics qualification is beneficial, though equivalent practical experience is welcome. Candidates should also demonstrate responsible use of AI tools, strong communication, and the ability to lead, mentor, and share knowledge.
