Vice President, Business Data Analyst, Capital Market Greater Pune, India Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Business Data Analyst, to support enterprise data and product solutions for business, risk management, and regulatory reporting. The role involves collaborating with business and technology teams to understand capital markets processing, assess end-to-end data flows, document current and target-state mappings, and identify data gaps. The successful candidate will define critical data elements and quality standards, establish governance and reconciliation controls, and develop systematic solutions to reduce manual processes. Responsibilities also include preparing detailed requirements, conducting functional testing and data validation, and analyzing daily trading-book variances. Applicants should have at least 13 years of combined experience in banking and financial services, technology, or data controls and governance; an engineering degree and postgraduate finance education are preferred. Extensive capital markets experience and deep knowledge of derivatives and securities financing transactions are required. Candidates should bring strong data analysis skills, including Excel, SQL, Python, and PySpark, along with experience in data management, lineage, modeling, governance, and regulatory requirements. Familiarity with AI-enabled analysis, generative AI, prompt engineering, and automation is valued, as are strong problem-solving, stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
