The Company is seeking a Vice President, Java Technology Lead to direct the end-to-end development, architecture, delivery, and support of enterprise applications. Responsibilities include designing scalable, secure Java and microservices solutions; leading the software development lifecycle; and guiding AI-enabled initiatives, including the integration of generative AI capabilities into enterprise applications. The role also oversees database and application performance, production support, incident management, and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will set engineering standards, mentor teams, and partner with senior stakeholders on technology strategy and delivery plans. Candidates should have at least 13 years of software engineering experience and strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, messaging platforms, and relational databases. Required skills include database tuning, cloud platforms, distributed systems, Kubernetes, containers, CI/CD, Git, and DevOps practices, along with working knowledge of AI, machine learning, LLMs, and related development tools. Experience leading and developing engineering teams and establishing technical standards is essential. A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
