Vice President, Lead Architect, C++ & Java Greater Pune, India Area

The Company is seeking a senior technical leader to architect and build mission-critical, low-latency, high-throughput systems for real-time position management and risk controls. Responsibilities include designing distributed, fault-tolerant platforms; writing, reviewing, and optimizing production code; and developing resilient event-driven pipelines. The role also involves performance tuning, modernizing engineering workflows with AI-assisted tools, and translating quantitative models and regulatory requirements into scalable technical designs. The successful candidate will advise global stakeholders, coordinate with engineering teams and connected technology platforms, and mentor engineers while leading design and code reviews. Candidates should have at least 10 years of hands-on engineering experience and strong expertise in modern C++, including concurrency, memory management, profiling, and low-latency development on Linux. Practical Java knowledge, SQL skills, and experience with distributed systems, messaging, and event-stream technologies are also required; familiarity with Rust and AI-assisted development practices is beneficial. A bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer or software engineering, or an equivalent STEM discipline is required. A master’s degree in computer science, financial engineering, or a related quantitative field is desirable.
