The Company is seeking a Vice President, Senior Java & AI Engineer to design and build technology solutions for foreign exchange and equities prime brokerage. Responsibilities include developing system architecture and production-grade applications, implementing new features, and improving software quality, automation, scalability, and development practices. The role involves collaborating with business, trading, quantitative, and product stakeholders to translate needs into data-driven solutions, providing third-line production support, and mentoring junior engineers. The successful candidate will also contribute to consistent team processes and provide hands-on technical guidance. Candidates should have a master’s degree or equivalent in a STEM discipline and more than 10 years of software engineering experience. Strong hands-on skills in Java and Spring, ultra-low-latency development, SQL and databases, messaging technologies, and caching are required; foreign exchange knowledge is preferred. Experience building new systems, modernizing legacy applications, and using AI coding tools to deliver production-grade software is expected. Candidates should bring broad systems knowledge, strong communication skills, and the ability to assess codebases and provide constructive technical feedback; familiarity with Kubernetes, OpenShift, or KDB is an advantage.
