Associate Vice President, Software Engineer, Data Greater Singapore Area

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President, Software Engineer, Data to design, build, and operate secure, scalable applications, APIs, data products, platforms, and batch and streaming pipelines. The role spans the full engineering lifecycle, from system design and data modelling through testing, deployment, and production support. Responsibilities include establishing data quality and reliability controls, implementing governance and access safeguards, and integrating data capabilities with enterprise systems. The successful candidate will contribute to architecture and engineering standards, improve automation and observability, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver practical solutions. The role also applies agentic AI across development workflows while maintaining accountability for security, correctness, and production readiness. Candidates should have proven experience delivering and supporting production-grade software across front-end, back-end, APIs, and platform services, alongside data pipelines and platforms in complex enterprise environments. Strong hands-on skills are required in SQL and modern programming languages and frameworks, with experience in relevant distributed processing, orchestration, cloud, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, testing, and observability technologies. Applicants should bring sound software design fundamentals and practical knowledge of data modelling, contracts, quality, lineage, governance, privacy, security, and operational resilience. Strong communication, collaboration, and technical leadership skills are essential, as is a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information and Communications Technology, or a related discipline. Exposure to financial market infrastructure and its data is also sought.
