Vice President, Software Engineer (Data) Greater Singapore Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Software Engineer (Data) to lead engineering across its data domain, including applications, platforms, and data products. The role sets technical direction and engineering standards, oversees system architecture and the full delivery lifecycle, and drives the evolution of shared data platforms and production-grade batch and streaming pipelines. Responsibilities include strengthening data quality, security, governance, reliability, observability, and integration across enterprise systems. The Vice President will also lead engineering teams, mentor technical talent, guide adoption of agentic AI practices, and align roadmaps, resources, and delivery priorities with senior stakeholders. Candidates should have substantial leadership experience in software and data engineering across complex enterprise environments, with a record of delivering technical roadmaps, reducing technical debt, and managing operational risk. Strong knowledge of modern software and data architecture, APIs, microservices, event-driven systems, cloud and data platforms, CI/CD, orchestration, streaming, and programming languages such as Python, Java, or TypeScript is required. Applicants should bring deep expertise in software design, data modelling, data contracts, quality engineering, governance, privacy, and high-availability or regulated environments. Excellent communication and people leadership skills are essential, along with a bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information and communications technology, data science, or a related discipline. Experience with financial market infrastructure and its associated data is an advantage.
