Program Chief & Medical Director, Medicine Program

The Company is seeking a Program Chief and Medical Director to lead a large, complex medicine program alongside program and physician leaders. The role sets a unifying vision and advances quality, safety, access, patient flow, and operational performance across inpatient, outpatient, community, virtual, and home-based care. The successful candidate will guide clinical and operational transformation, strengthen physician engagement, and support workforce and succession planning. They will also advance medical education, research, and innovation while fostering a collaborative culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and physician wellbeing. Candidates must be respected physicians and experienced, inclusive medical leaders with a meaningful connection to frontline clinical care. They should demonstrate the ability to influence clinical practice, build cohesive teams, navigate complexity, and lead significant transformation while balancing quality, access, sustainability, and professional autonomy. Applicants must hold certification in Internal Medicine or an equivalent qualification recognized by the relevant Canadian medical certification body, and be licensed or eligible for licensure by the applicable provincial medical regulator. Eligibility for an academic appointment at The Company is also required.
