Vice President, Finance

The Company is seeking a Vice President/Director of Finance to lead its finance function while remaining hands-on with financial modeling, cash flow planning, and transaction analysis. The role partners with senior leadership to evaluate business opportunities, assess financial risks and funding needs, and recommend actions that support profitability and effective capital allocation. Responsibilities include overseeing financial reporting and treasury activities, guiding budgeting and forecasting, and analyzing acquisitions, asset sales, and other strategic transactions. The successful candidate will strengthen financial models, management information, processes, and controls while developing the finance team and coordinating with accounting colleagues, auditors, and external advisors. Candidates should have at least eight years of progressive finance experience, including financial reporting responsibilities and experience leading a finance team. They should be skilled in preparing and reviewing financial statements, managing close and external audit processes, and building models for planning, transactions, and financing decisions. Experience with cash flow forecasting, budgeting, commercial analysis, and evaluating acquisitions or financing arrangements is required; commercial finance or related financial services experience is an asset. Strong commercial judgment, communication, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to explain complex matters and develop experienced professionals are essential.
