Associate General Counsel, Tax

The Company is seeking an Associate General Counsel, Tax to establish and lead its in-house tax legal function and help shape U.S. and international tax strategy. The role includes leading tax planning and structuring across corporate entities, partnerships, intellectual property, and cross-border transactions. The successful candidate will advise senior leadership on commercial transactions, intercompany arrangements, licensing agreements, reorganizations, tax positions, and disputes. They will also review tax-related contract provisions, monitor legal developments, collaborate with tax, finance, and business teams, and manage external tax counsel. Candidates should have at least 10 years of sophisticated tax law experience, ideally including substantial experience with a multinational business. Deep knowledge of U.S. federal taxation of LLCs and partnerships, along with strong corporate and international tax expertise, including cross-border structuring and transfer pricing, is required. Excellent judgment and the ability to translate complex tax matters into practical business advice are essential. Experience in life sciences, pharmaceuticals, or another regulated industry is an advantage.
