Summary
VisiQuate is looking for a Vice President of Product, Platform and Intelligence to turn company strategy into a focused, commercially successful product portfolio. This executive is responsible for product strategy and operating discipline across VisiQuate solutions, the shared platform and SynAPSE, and the company’s data science and artificial intelligence capabilities.
This is a hands-on leadership role. The Vice President leads product directors and data scientists while remaining close enough to critical backlogs, client needs and engineering decisions to remove ambiguity and keep teams moving. The role partners closely with Engineering, Delivery, Client Success, Growth and Design to move validated opportunities from discovery through launch, adoption and measurable client value.
Key Responsibilities
Product strategy and portfolio: Set and communicate the product vision, investment priorities and multi-year roadmap in alignment with company strategy, healthcare market needs and client outcomes.
Balance innovation, platform modernization, client commitments, revenue opportunities, product health and technical risk when allocating product capacity.
Establish clear product decision rights and lifecycle standards from discovery and validation through launch, adoption, performance management and retirement.
Use market, client, operational and product-usage evidence to identify opportunities, test assumptions and decide where VisiQuate should build, partner or stop investing.
Platform and SynAPSE: Serve as the executive product owner for SynAPSE and the shared platform, maintaining a prioritized backlog and turning broad business needs into clear outcomes, epics and acceptance criteria.
Define reusable platform capabilities that enable product teams to move faster while improving scalability, security, performance, observability and maintainability.
Work closely with Engineering and Architecture to sequence platform investments, resolve dependencies and make transparent tradeoffs between foundational work and near-term product delivery.
Drive adoption of shared services, data standards, design patterns and governance so new capabilities strengthen the whole portfolio rather than create isolated solutions.
Intelligence, data and AI: Set the product strategy for analytics, machine learning, agentic workflows and intelligent automation, focusing investment on healthcare problems where VisiQuate can create differentiated client value.
Lead data scientists as a product-centered intelligence team with clear problem statements, success measures, experimentation practices and paths to production.
Partner with Engineering on the operating agreement for data pipelines, MLOps, deployment, monitoring, security, model performance and ongoing support.
Establish responsible AI and data-product practices covering quality, explainability, privacy, human oversight, governance and lifecycle management.
Measure the value and health of intelligence capabilities, including adoption, accuracy, operational impact, client outcomes and commercial contribution.
Leadership and execution: Lead, coach and grow product directors and data science leaders; set clear outcomes, operating expectations and development plans for each portfolio.
Create a practical product operating cadence with transparent roadmaps, measurable objectives, discovery discipline, release readiness and post-launch learning.
Build durable working relationships across Product, Engineering, Design, Delivery, Client Success and Growth, resolving ambiguity and cross-team dependencies quickly.
Maintain executive visibility into portfolio progress, risks, investment needs, adoption, revenue and profitability through concise, decision-oriented reporting.
Partner with Growth and Product Marketing on positioning, proposals, packaging, launches and product collateral.
Engage directly with clients and users to understand workflows, validate priorities, support critical situations and communicate product direction with credibility.
Education & Skills
12+ years of progressively responsible product management experience in enterprise software, data products, analytics or a similarly complex technology environment, including significant executive or senior leadership experience.
Demonstrated success leading multiple product portfolios and senior product leaders through strategy, discovery, roadmap decisions, delivery, commercialization and adoption.
Strong technical product fluency across cloud platforms, APIs, data architecture, analytics, machine learning and modern software development; able to work at depth with Engineering without replacing engineering leadership.
Experience taking AI or machine-learning capabilities from experimentation into governed, reliable production use; familiarity with MLOps and AI lifecycle management strongly preferred.
Proven ability to manage a critical platform backlog directly, write or refine unambiguous product requirements and make timely decisions in a fast-moving environment.
Strong business judgment and analytical ability, including experience using adoption, outcome, revenue and profitability measures to guide product investment.
Executive-level communication and influence with clients, technical teams, commercial leaders and boards or senior leadership teams.
Healthcare revenue-cycle experience, or substantial experience in another regulated, data-intensive industry, strongly preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, information systems, engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; advanced degree preferred.
