Chief Revenue Cycle Officer

The Company is seeking a Chief Revenue Cycle Officer to provide strategic leadership for healthcare revenue cycle operations and support process modernization and organizational growth. The role oversees revenue cycle functions, including professional billing, reimbursement, and accounts receivable management, while ensuring effective billing workflows and adherence to payer requirements. The officer will partner with senior finance leadership, manage outsourced revenue cycle vendors, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency through technology, automation, and stronger business processes. Candidates should have at least five years of recent senior leadership experience and 10 or more years of related experience, including deep knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle operations. A bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred, and a master’s degree in business or healthcare administration is preferred. Experience in a physician organization or similar academic medical setting, managing large-scale operations, and overseeing outsourced vendors is advantageous. Applicants should understand billing workflows, payer rules, and revenue cycle technologies, and have working knowledge of AI and automation tools.
