Associate Vice President, Interoperability Strategy, Operations & Partnerships Remote (anywhere in United States)

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President of Interoperability Strategy, Operations & Partnerships to set the enterprise vision and lead a multi-year healthcare data exchange roadmap. The role will establish standards for secure data acquisition, exchange, normalization, and use, while building and developing teams across strategy, operations, integrations, connectivity, and partner management. Responsibilities include cultivating national partnerships across the healthcare ecosystem and driving operational performance through governance, KPIs, service levels, and continuous improvement. The executive will also apply automation, AI, and analytics to improve data quality and scalability, advise senior leaders, and guide strategy in response to regulatory and market changes. Candidates should have at least 15 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare technology, interoperability, healthcare data, operations, product, platforms, or strategic partnerships, including significant senior executive experience. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant business, healthcare, informatics, or technology field—or an equivalent combination of education and experience—is required. Applicants should bring expertise in healthcare data exchange standards and technologies, such as FHIR, HL7, X12/EDI, C-CDA/CCD, APIs, and data networks, along with experience leading enterprise-scale initiatives. Strong strategic and business judgment, executive influence, organizational leadership, execution, adaptability, and systems thinking are essential. Experience with payer-provider exchange, healthcare analytics, AI, automation, or complex technology agreements is an advantage.
