Startup Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

The Company is seeking a Startup Controller and Fractional CFO to lead and grow its fractional finance advisory service. The role involves advising founders on budgeting, forecasting, cash runway, spending, and fundraising readiness, translating financial data into actionable decisions. The successful candidate will turn manual processes into repeatable systems and help design an AI-powered finance agent that delivers CFO-level insights to startup founders. This position combines hands-on financial advising with building scalable tools and workflows. Candidates should have at least two years of corporate finance experience, such as in accounting advisory, mergers and acquisitions, investment banking, or an equivalent field. Strong financial modeling skills, including cash flow forecasting and dashboard development, are required, along with practical experience building AI agents, automations, or internal tools used regularly. The role calls for an entrepreneurial mindset, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to collaborate closely with founders and other stakeholders. Fluency in English and confidence discussing financial matters with founders are essential.
