Head of Operations

The Company is seeking a Head of Operations to take on a permanent role with a focus on driving efficiency, quality, and profitability across two locations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall operations, including the management of multiple departments such as production, engineering, supply chain, logistics, and operational excellence. Key responsibilities for the Head of Operations include setting and achieving production and cost targets, optimizing the value chain, and leading the further development of technologies and processes. The role demands a strategic and operational leader who can also contribute to corporate strategy, with a strong emphasis on employee development and reporting to management. Applicants for the Head of Operations position at the company should have a completed technical degree or a comparable qualification, solid management experience in various technical departments, and a background in an industrial environment, preferably with experience in contract manufacturing. Expertise in process optimization methodologies such as Lean, CIP, and 5S is essential. The role requires a candidate with strong leadership and communication skills, including shop floor experience, and fluency in both German and English. The ideal candidate will be adept at capacity planning, ensuring material availability, managing inventory, and lead times, and will be instrumental in the strategic and operational leadership of the operations function.
