Head of Fund Accounting, Private Equity

The Company is seeking a Head of Fund Accounting to lead a team and manage the financial operations of private equity and growth capital funds. The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily operations of the funds, including NAV calculation, trade settlement, cash and position reconciliation, and corporate action handling. This role also involves overseeing the financial reporting of the funds, maintaining the accounting books for general partners, and assisting in the annual audit process. The Head of Fund Accounting will work closely with the investment team to facilitate deal closing, exit, and internal warehousing deals, and will be involved in the operational support of securities settlements. Applicants for the Head of Fund Accounting position at the company should be CPA qualified with a strong technical accounting background and a thorough understanding of private equity fund structures. The role requires proven experience in fund accounting, particularly in the accurate calculation and oversight of fund NAVs, as well as hands-on management of SPV liquidity, cash positions, capital calls, distributions, and bank accounts. The ideal candidate will have the ability to oversee financial reporting, audits, and ensure compliance with regulatory and investor requirements.
