Head of Facilities

The Company is seeking a Head of Facilities to join their leadership team. The successful candidate will be responsible for both the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of all facilities services across multiple nursing home locations. This includes the effective management of maintenance, health and safety, regulatory compliance, capital development projects, contractor performance, and sustainability initiatives. The Head of Facilities will also be tasked with ensuring the overall efficiency of buildings and infrastructure, and must demonstrate strong leadership, technical knowledge, and a proven track record in managing facilities within a highly regulated environment. Applicants for the Head of Facilities position at the company should have a degree, diploma, or professional qualification in a relevant field, and a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a senior facilities management role. The role requires comprehensive knowledge of health and safety legislation, building compliance standards, and contractor management, as well as experience in budget management and delivering capital projects. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills, and be able to proactively identify and mitigate operational and facilities-related risks. A full driving license and the flexibility to travel between sites as needed are also essential.
