Managing Director

The successful candidate will take full P&L responsibility, lead a high-impact turnaround, and shape market leadership in a specialized sector. Key responsibilities include developing and executing a comprehensive turnaround strategy, driving commercial excellence, and repositioning the business within the Belgian market. The role also involves building and motivating a high-performing leadership team, strengthening relationships with key customers, suppliers, and stakeholders, and ensuring alignment with group strategy while adapting to local market dynamics. Applicants must have a proven track record in senior leadership within the steel distribution industry, with a specific emphasis on successfully leading turnarounds and transforming loss-making businesses into profitable operations. A strong commercial background in B2B industrial sales environments, extensive P&L management experience, and fluency in Dutch, French, and English are mandatory.
