Vice President of Compliance

The Company is in search of a VP Compliance Officer to join their team. The successful candidate will be tasked with ensuring that the organization operates in full compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. This hands-on role involves the development, implementation, and maintenance of compliance programs, as well as conducting regular risk assessments and compliance audits. The VP Compliance Officer will also be responsible for monitoring and reporting on regulatory compliance, providing guidance and training to business units, and staying abreast of any changes in the legal and regulatory landscape that may impact the company's operations. Applicants for the VP Compliance Officer position at the company should possess a strong knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Professional certifications such as CRCM, CAMS, or similar are preferred. The role requires experience or working knowledge in a variety of compliance areas, including but not limited to CRA, BSA, retail and deposit regulations, fair lending, and the USA Patriot Act. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of influencing their own development within the organization.
