Deputy Head of Private Banking Department

The Company is seeking a Deputy Head for its Private Banking Department. The successful candidate will have over 15 years of experience in private banking, with a strong background in investment and product management. This role involves supporting the General Manager in leading the department's overall strategy, management, and development, as well as driving business growth, profitability, and operational excellence. The Deputy Head will be responsible for overseeing key business areas, ensuring strong governance and compliance with regulatory standards, and providing oversight on risk management frameworks. Building and maintaining strategic relationships with key clients and business partners is also a key aspect of the position. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree or above in a relevant discipline, a minimum of 15 years of banking experience, and at least 8 years in a senior leadership role within private banking and wealth management. A strong knowledge of private banking, investment advisory, securities, insurance, and wealth management products is essential, as is solid experience in risk management, regulatory compliance, and governance. The role requires proficiency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, and a proven track record in leadership, stakeholder management, and business development. A holder of an Insurance Responsible Officer (RO) license and Securities Executive Officer (EO) license is a bonus.
