Associate Vice President, Financial Reporting

The Company is seeking an AVP, Financial Reporting for a pivotal global role within its international life insurance operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the multinational client's consolidation and financial reporting processes, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and corporate disclosure standards. This high-impact position involves leading the coordination of monthly and quarterly closings, providing actionable financial analysis to senior management, and building partnerships with regional finance, actuarial, and corporate accounting teams. The role also offers the opportunity for global leadership exposure, including contributing to board-level reporting, refining internal controls, and driving reporting automation initiatives. Applicants must have 10-15+ years' of financial management experience within a public or private insurance organization, with a CPA designation preferred. Strong technical expertise in life insurance accounting and U.S. GAAP financial reporting is essential, as is knowledge of financial risk management, accounting principles, and financial reporting standards. The role requires a strategic finance leader with sharp analytical skills, cross-cultural fluency, and the ability to manage complex deliverables under tight deadlines. International experience and a public accounting background are also preferred. The AVP will be expected to maintain strong internal financial controls, ensure compliance with governance standards, and continuously assess and improve the close and reporting process.
