Associate Vice President, Data Science

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President for Data Science to take on a senior role with a focus on AI products and commercial partnership. The successful candidate will be responsible for owning the AI throttling system, leading a team of data scientists and ML engineers, and driving the full product lifecycle for AI products. This includes everything from roadmap and modeling strategy to release planning and performance measurement. The role also involves close collaboration with commercial, operations, product, and engineering teams, and requires the ability to report measurable impact to senior leadership. Applicants must have a strong background in data science, machine learning, or applied AI, with a preference for experience in production systems at scale within an adtech environment. Essential skills include a proven track record in owning AI/ML products, experience in leading technical teams, and a deep understanding of experimentation, causal measurement, and production ML. Proficiency in Python, SQL, and data engineering is required, with additional experience in adtech-related areas and production infrastructure being a plus. The role demands excellent communication skills to engage with a range of stakeholders and the ability to turn commercial problems into data science opportunities.
