Vice President, Legal Entity Controller & Regulatory Reporting

The Company is seeking a VP, Legal Entity Controller & Regulatory Reporting to oversee the financial and regulatory reporting activities for its broker-dealer and swap dealer entities. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing legal entity controllership in compliance with U.S. GAAP, collaborating with various internal teams to ensure appropriate accounting treatment, and advising on strategic transactions and business initiatives that impact financial reporting and regulatory compliance. This role also involves overseeing the month-end and quarter-end close processes, preparing regulatory and external reporting filings, and maintaining accounting policies and control frameworks related to complex financial transactions. Applicants must have 8-10 years' of relevant experience, with a strong background in derivatives and direct experience with swaps. A CPA is required, as is a proven track record of working in a fast-paced environment, particularly in the context of new business launches, regulatory build-outs, or entity expansion. The role demands a candidate with Big 4 experience, the ability to drive system implementations, process automation, and technology enhancements to improve reporting efficiency. The VP will also be responsible for supporting various audits and ensuring alignment between GAAP financials and regulatory requirements, including administering regulatory capital and customer protection reporting processes.
