Vice President, Finance

The Company is in search of a Vice President, Finance to take on a pivotal role in leading the financial strategy, reporting, and governance for the organization. The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader with a CPA designation and over 10 years' of senior finance leadership experience, particularly in the area of ASPE. Key responsibilities for the VP, Finance include ensuring the integrity and compliance of all financial reporting, leading the financial planning and budgeting process, and establishing strong financial controls and governance frameworks. The role also involves strategic financial management, M&A activities, and fostering a culture of financial discipline and transparency. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in financial stewardship, performance management, and risk mitigation. They should be adept at translating business strategy into financial plans, providing insights on growth opportunities, and supporting executive decision-making. Experience in M&A, due diligence, and strategic finance initiatives is essential. The VP, Finance will also be responsible for leading and mentoring the finance team, building internal financial capabilities, and championing accountability across the business. A high level of integrity, strong business acumen, and the ability to communicate financial insights clearly are key attributes for this role.
