Vice President of Field Engineering Greater Miami, FL Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Field Engineering to lead and scale its customer-facing technical organization, overseeing technical delivery and forward-deployed engineering teams. The role owns senior technical relationships with enterprise customers and guides complex deployments and integrations across operational systems. The leader will drive deployment quality, reliability, scalability, and customer outcomes while partnering with product, engineering, and customer operations teams. Responsibilities also include building scalable processes and organizational structures, developing technical leaders, and serving as a strategic escalation point for complex implementation challenges. Candidates should have 12 or more years of experience leading technical, customer-facing organizations in enterprise software, AI, infrastructure, data platforms, or industrial technology. They should have experience scaling multiple technical functions and designing, shipping, and operating production software, including LLM-powered applications, AI agents, and end-to-end data pipelines. Strong knowledge of software architecture, cloud infrastructure, enterprise integrations, and operational platforms is required, along with experience using Python, SQL, PostgreSQL, Docker, and Apache Airflow. The role also calls for proven team-building and operational leadership, strong communication skills, and the ability to engage in both executive discussions and detailed technical reviews.
