Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its executive leadership team. The CFO will be a key player in driving the company's financial strategy, with a focus on capitalization and scaling financial operations to support the transition from late-stage development to commercial growth. This role requires a balance of strategic leadership and hands-on execution, particularly in the areas of financial, accounting, treasury, and investor-relations activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading all financial functions with a strong emphasis on discipline and transparency, developing and executing a financing strategy, and overseeing financial planning, reporting, and compliance. The CFO will also be instrumental in leading transactions, including M&A, licensing, and strategic partnerships, and must work closely with the CEO, senior leadership, and the Board in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a deep expertise in life science corporate financial strategy, planning, and capital management, with a proven track record in fundraising and investor relations. Essential qualifications include advanced knowledge of US GAAP, experience in building scalable financial systems, and a strong background in financial leadership within clinical-stage life sciences, biotech, or pharmaceutical organizations. The role demands excellent analytical, strategic-thinking, and problem-solving abilities, as well as outstanding interpersonal and communication skills. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required, with a preference for candidates holding an MBA, CPA, or equivalent advanced credential. Desirable qualifications include experience in late-stage clinical development, early commercialization, and strong relationships in the orthopedic industry.
