Executive Director

The Company is seeking an Executive Director to provide visionary leadership and strategic direction in support of its mission to improve the lives of animals and the families that care for them. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of the organization, ensuring operational excellence across all departments, and serving as the primary liaison between the Board of Directors and staff. This role requires a strong leader with a minimum of 5 years' senior leadership experience, preferably within nonprofit organizations, and a proven track record in financial management, strategic planning, and fundraising. The Executive Director will also be tasked with fostering a culture of compassion, respect, and accountability, and will be the key ambassador for the organization, building and strengthening community and external relationships. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in a relevant field, with a background in animal welfare, social services, or mission-driven organizations being advantageous. The role demands a candidate with strong team leadership, organizational development, and communication skills, as well as a deep commitment to the values of the organization. Responsibilities include departmental oversight, financial management, program evaluation, and staff leadership. The ideal candidate will have experience working with a Board of Directors, knowledge of nonprofit governance, and a successful history of donor engagement and cultivation.
