Head of Finance

The Company is seeking a Head of Finance to join their international logistics organization. The successful candidate will lead the local finance team, acting as a strategic financial business partner to the General Manager. This role is pivotal in the financial management and control of the Dutch entities, requiring a combination of financial expertise and strategic insight to contribute to commercial and operational decision-making. Key responsibilities include financial planning and analysis, ensuring compliance, and leading the development of KPIs and dashboards. The Head of Finance will also be involved in preparing and reviewing business cases, as well as initiating and implementing improvements in financial processes and systems. Applicants for the Head of Finance position at the company should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field and possess an excellent command of the Dutch language, with a good command of English. Extensive experience in financial control and FP&A is essential, particularly with a background in business partnering with senior management. The role requires a candidate with experience in leading or coaching a small team, a good understanding of financial administration and accounting, and an entrepreneurial mindset. The ideal candidate will have an affinity for small organizations and a hands-on approach to shaping and improving financial matters.
