The Company is seeking a Vice President, Technical Lead to join their engineering team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in the evolution of a market-leading regulatory reporting platform used by global financial institutions. This role requires a professional with a strong technical background and leadership capability to lead a cross-functional engineering squad. Responsibilities include driving the technical direction of the team, solution design, and architecture, and ensuring the delivery of strategic platform enhancements while maintaining the stability, performance, and resilience of production services. The role also involves championing cloud-native development, DevOps, automation, and CI/CD, as well as mentoring engineers to foster a high-performing engineering culture. Applicants should have a minimum of 8 years' experience in software engineering, platform engineering, or application development, with a proven track record of leading engineering teams or serving as a senior technical lead. A strong background in cloud-native architectures, distributed systems, and enterprise application development is essential. The ideal candidate will have experience with a range of key technologies, including Microsoft Azure, AKS, Azure SQL & SQL Server, Azure DevOps, .NET / C#, Java / Spring Boot, REST APIs, Microservices, Docker, and Terraform. Desirable qualifications include experience in financial services, capital markets, or regulatory reporting, as well as knowledge of various regulatory reporting regimes and relevant certifications. The role demands strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with a passion for engineering excellence and continuous improvement.
